What I love most about this romantic goth look is that it can be worn during the day and quickly transition into an evening out. The loafers complement the real showstopper of the harness’s chic design. Black ribbon, smooth leather (faux), and a textured dress give this luxury gothic outfit a lot of visual interest.
It’s a feminine style that still has edginess but is not overbearing. And the best part is that it’s still comfortable!
Look II – Thicc Boots Edition
I’m crazy about how this outfit changes when the loafers are swapped out for my knee highs. The juxtaposition against my sister’s colonial home makes the chunky platform boots pop but still lands a romantic goth feel with the cascading ribbon.
When I put these boots on, I can only think about how much of a badass I feel in them. In the wise words of Colin Robinson, “I’ve never felt so alive in my life.” I say that partly joking because I do feel very confident in them.
In addition, the Disturbia harness gives soft goth vibes, which helps tone down the masculinity of the look with the thick soles. My only qualm is that the straps do slide down. A quick fix around this was tying a small black ribbon in the back to keep that from happening.
